Windsor West Hants Summer Fest (formerly Sam Slick Days), a three-day annual festival in Windsor, celebrates the fast-talking character of the Sam Slick stories, written by Judge Thomas Chandler Haliburton in the 1830's. The festival features a street fair, parade, fireworks and live music and is held the first weekend of August.

Windsor West Hants Pumpkin Festival - Pumpkin Regatta

Held annually on the second Sunday of October, this event features a racing regatta of vessels made out of carved giant pumpkins. A paddler's parade, children's festivities and food concessions are offered.
