    Port Medway Lighthouse Park
    The centrepiece of this scenic park is the 1899 Port Medway Lighthouse, which is no longer in use but was lovingly restored by the community. The park features a boardwalk, interpretive displays and a sheltered picnic area. Open year-round.

    Peggy's Cove Lighthouse
    Officially known as the Peggy's Point Lighthouse, this beacon is quite possibly most photographed lighthouse in the world. It marks the entrance to St. Margaret's bay and guided seafarers as far back as 1868. This icon has since retired as a lighthouse and now acts as a post office, complete with its own specialized stamps.

    Cape George Point Lighthouse

    The original lighthouse on Cape George was built in 1861, but it was destroyed in 1907 after years of successfully guiding ships. The current lighthouse has been standing since 1968 and has interpretive displays. From the lighthouse, visitors can take in views of PEI and Cape Breton.

    Walton Lighthouse
    Located outside Maitland in the village of Walton, this beacon for ships is the only standing lighthouse in Hants County. The second floor of the attraction has an interpretive centre explaining the history of Walton, and the third floor features a telescope and panoramic views of the area. The surrounding property has gardens, a gazebo and a wishing well. The lighthouse dates back to 1873.

    Gilbert's Cove Lighthouse

    Explore this 1904 lighthouse and keeper’s residence, located 19 km from Digby. Browse through the museum, which features historic photos and artifacts. The lighthouse also offers a local crafts and tea room, plus a picnic area. Admission is free, and the property is open between mid June and mid September.

    Cape Forchu Lighthouse

    Located near the port of Yarmouth, this curiously-shaped lighthouse was built in 1962 to replace the old lighthouse that had been standing on that spot since 1839. The lighthouse is owned an maintained by the municipality of Yarmouth, and it recieves around 30,000 visitors annually. Picnic facilities, a gift shop, a cafeteria and an interpretive centre are available.

    Five Islands Lighthouse
    Built in 1913, this wooden lighthouse stands approximately 60 m (197 ft) from its originally location at Sand Point. Considered part of the Fundy Shore Eco-tour, this lighthouse now stands on Sand Point Campground.

    Hampton Lighthouse

    Located off Wharf Road at Hampton Beach, this lighthouse was built in November of 1911 to guide fishers on the Bay of Fundy. Arrangements can be made for those interested in climbing the lighthouse tower. The facility is open from the end of May to the beginning of September.

    Nova Scotia Lighthouse Interpretive Centre
    This centre is set in a lightkeeper's home and tells the story and history of Nova Scotia's lighthouses. You can go to the top of the light tower which is adjoined to the house and get a great view of Port Bickerton and the surrounding coast.

    Built in 1889, this fully-operational lighthouse is run by the residents of Belliveau Cove, a picturesque community just outside of Clare. The lightouse grounds and surrounding park are open year-round for exploring. Situated at the Belliveau Cove Wharf.

    Fort Point Lighthouse Park
    Fort Point Lighthouse Park can be found at the end of Main Street in Liverpool. The Lighhtouse was built in 1855 and protected mariners for 134 years. Now a museum, the Lighthouse provides an interactive interpretation of life in the lighthouse and the community.
