Peggy's Cove Lighthouse Officially known as the Peggy's Point Lighthouse, this beacon is quite possibly most photographed lighthouse in the world. It marks the entrance to St. Margaret's bay and guided seafarers as far back as 1868. Walton Lighthouse Located outside Maitland in the village of Walton, this beacon for ships is the only standing lighthouse in Hants County. The second floor of the attraction has an interpretive centre explaining the history of Walton, and the third floor features a telescope and panoramic views of the area.
