The Halifax Metro Centre is part of the World Trade and Convention centre complex. The centre can accommodate hockey games and other sporting events, as well as concerts and performances. Past shows have included Garth Brooks, Wayne Newton and the broadway musical CATS. The centre has a seating capacity of up to 10,000 people and has 53 ft ceilings.
