In 1816 William Ross, an army captain, and his wife Mary arrived with 172 disbanded soldiers to settle in the interior of N.S. The 60-acre site includes a vintage store, farmhouse, barns and workshops, village school, a blacksmith's shop and a cooper's shop. Horse-drawn wagon rides, demonstrations and farm animals make for a day of fun on this working farm. Open June 1 to October 15.
