Set in a Presbyterian Church that dates back to 1865, this museum has an impressive artistic plaster interior and showcases a variety of items, including antique tools, photographs, personal mementos and much more.
From his parlour window, William D. Lawrence could watch his bustling shipyard on the shore of Cobequid Bay. The largest full-rigged ship in Canada, also named William D. Lawrence, was built and launched there in 1874. An outdoor exhibit provides background on shipbuilding and the natural heritage of the area. Open June 1 - October 15, admission charged
