Lockeport Canada Day Parade and Weekend Activities Jul 01 July 1st Weekend is a wonderful and eventful tradition in Lockeport.
There is always a charming parade and fireworks as well as world-famous dory racing. Dances and "beer gardens" featuring local talent round out the holiday weekend events.
This lovely town goes all out to welcome visitors and returning family members.
Lockeport Sea Derby Aug 08 to Aug 10 This annual sport fishing competition is extremely popular, perhaps because the prizes up for grabs total over $10,000. It's a tough competition to win though -- the record catch was a 315 lb shark caught in 1995. Other festivities include a dance and social with live entertainment.
