Simeon Perkins built this Connecticut-style house in 1766. Perkins is well-known for his diaries, which meticulously chronicle early Nova Scotian life. Situated adjacent to the Perkins House museum, this comprehensive learning centre is representative of the Perkins warehouse, and features a variety of exhibits pertaining to forestry, shipbuilding, Abroginal history, the navy and both World Wars.
