The cold clear waters of the Eastern Shore yield some of the best seafood in the province, and now you can sample it at its freshest: Lobsters, Mussels, Clams, and Haddock served a variety of ways, along with traditional heritage foods such as Chowder, Fishcakes and Beans, Solomon Gundy, Herring and Potatoes, and hot smoked fish.

Family activities and skills demonstrations such as paint-your-own-buoy, dory rides, net knitting, and lobster trap building.

A Fatherís Day outing the whole family will love.
Enjoy a wide range of vehicles on display throughout the Heritage Village grounds. Special Fatherís Day draws and live music in the Clam Factory.Plus, kids can challenge Dad to a Kub Kar race after they have made their own car in the Boatshop.
Snacks and a variety of Cookhouse meals available on site.

Rain date is June 25th.

A festive day celebrating the coastal villages in the Lake Charlotte area. Come see dozens of remote controlled model boats in action on the Dufferin Pond. Enjoy a free, freshly made donut from the vintage Belshaw Donut Robot, then work off the extra calories with some traditional 1940s games and races with the kids, or try panning for gold.

An evening modeled on the 1940s musical revues put on by communities across Canada to "send off" their men and women overseas.

Presenting a variety of local talent performing musical numbers, instrumental numbers, and readings and theatrics by the Eastern Shore Players.

Featuring Cookhouse canteen serving some wartime favourites.

This year's annual celebration of womenís work in the home and community will celebrate home preserving through a variety of techniques such as jamming, pickling, souring and drying.
This event will host activities for the entire family throughout the village grounds.

Visit the homestead to make pickles, knead bread, or taste fresh-made jelly. Kids will love cranking the rollers when we wash laundry.

Members of the The Atlantic Canadian Military History Association will also be encamped on the grounds of the Heritage Village over the weekend of the Women's Heritage Celebration from Friday evening to Sunday Afternoon. They will be featuring displays related to women during the Second World War both overseas and on the home front.

The festival is a celebration of the harmonica and all who play it, regardless of musical preference or style.

The festival ends with a two hour showcase concert featuring harmonica players from all musical genres, from Isle of Skye, to the Mississippi Delta.

Back by popular demand, Memory Lane Heritage Village will host a Musique Royale Concert in the historic Clam Harbour Church, followed by a lamp-lit three course dinner in the Cookhouse. Featuring Helios Vocal Ensemble.

Reservations must be made by the Thursday before the concert.
