This uniquely-shaped interpretive centre offers a look at the past and present of the picturesque community of Bear River. The centre, which also acts as the towns visitor information centre, is surrounded by a waterfront park and a scenic boardwalk. Located adjacent to Canada's first solar aquatic waste water management facility. Open June 14 to October 8.

Bear River First Nation Heritage & Cultural Centre
Experience the rich and unique culture of the local Mi'kmaq Aboriginal community at this cultural centre. Programs and activities include re-enactments, drumming & singing sessions, and hands-on workshops that teach visitors how to make baskets, dream-catchers, canoes, wigwams and more. Also enjoy the Aboriginal gallery, which features original works of art. Open from May 17 to October 17.
